On 8/15, at trial confirmation,there was another defense motion to continue. This one is due to outstanding discovery and Cudney's attorney, Mr. Manny Daskal recovering from illness.
Deputy District Attorney Whitney Timm appeared for the People at the last hearing. Deputy DA Steven Steward was the prosecutor for this case but he was elected Judge in the June 2022 election and his cases are being reassigned.
Jury trial for 8/29 was vacated. Intervention scheduled for 11/15/22; trial confirmation for 1/3/23 and jury trial for 1/9/23.
