Matthew Edward Dickerson was arraigned today on 6 felony counts . The DA has charged him with three counts of PC 288(c)(1) lewd or lascivious acts with a minor age 14 or 15 and three counts of PC 261.5(d) unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor.
Dickerson was arrested by Fortuna Police Department on August 20 for PC 289(a)(1)(C) forcible penetration with a foreign object , PC 288(c)(1) lewd or lascivious acts with a minor age 14 or 15 and PC 261.5(d) unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor.
Public Defender appointed to represent Dickerson.
Bail $105,000. OR/bail on 8/26; preliminary hearing is on 9/6.
8/26: Supervised release granted by Judge Christopher Wilson on electronic supervision. Protective order served.
9/6: Defense request to continue preliminary hearing granted; rescheduled for 11/1.
11/1: Preliminary continued to 12/12 by court due to attorneys having other preliminary hearings and no courtroom availability.
12/12: Preliminary hearing continued by DA to 2/9/23.
