Battle of the motions to take place in Millsap case

 


Murder suspect Pamela Millsap's jury trial scheduled for July 12 was confirmed at the last hearing.

Deputy District Attorney Whitney Timm is the prosecutor for the case. Deputy Conflict Counsel April Van Dyke is Millsap's attorney. Conflict Counsel Supervising Attorney Megan O'Connell appeared in court for Ms. Van Dyke today.

On June 21, the defense filed a motion to continue with a declaration for a in camera proceeding. That was scheduled on the same day as the motion to compel which is calendared for June 30.

People did not have notice until last Friday about the motion to continue. Ms. Timm had a wriiten response but needed time to file it.
