Byron Dean Titus' sentencing continued, will defense may file for a new trial

 


Byron Dean Titus, Jr was found guilty by a jury in March for attempted premeditated murder, assault with a firearm with the special allegation that he personally used a firearm to commit the crimes, aggravated mayhem, residential burglary, and shooting at an inhabited dwelling.   

His sentencing today was continued to April 12. Defense is going to "explore a motion for new trial."


4/12: Defense motion to continue denied. Titus was sentenced to prison.
