Jesse Allan Beer's preliminary just concluded around 11:45 in Courtroom 2 right now with Judge Kaleb Cockrum presiding. Beer was held to answer on all charges.
The bailiff cuffed Beer and he was fully clothed in an orange jumpsuit unlike his booking photo.
Beer has one traffic ordinance,one 2020 case and four 2021 cases. The attempted homicide case is from 2021.
The preliminary hearing for the attempted homicide scheduled for 4/26 was continued by the District Attorney.
Beer has a Redding address listed in the court system and has spent 60 days in custody in the Humboldt jail.
There are different Deputy DAs in court minutes and while Deputy DA Jessica Acosta is most frequently listed, Deputy DA Roger Rees has appeared on the case and today Deputy DA Shelly Small did the preliminary hearing.
