Amy Segui (Conlin), Community Risk Reduction Specialist at Humboldt Bay Fire is saying goodbye. Sharing her message and reasons why she is leaving as requested.
Good afternoon, Partners, Stakeholders, and Friends,
I wanted to personally inform you all, with a heavy heart, that I will be leaving Humboldt Bay Fire in June 2022.
Due to family health concerns my husband and I will be moving down to Santa Rosa in order to better care for my parents.
It is bittersweet news in that I will be closer to my family but will be leaving this community and department that I love and have learned to call home. I have absolutely treasured my time at Humboldt Bay Fire, and you all have contributed to that. I truly appreciate all of your collaboration and support over the last 4 years and I will be in touch with you all as my transition grows closer on who the best contact for you will be in my absence.
We anticipate that a job announcement for the Community Risk Reduction Specialist position will be posted next week. I encourage you to look it over and refer it to anyone you believe would be a good fit for the job. If you would like to connect before I leave please feel free to reach out to me. I’m happy to send my personal contact information individually.
Please feel free to forward this message.
All my best,
Amy
