I could care less what Rex Bohn does and if he wants to carry around Mike Newman campaign signs in his truck so why did I take this photo today?

I was at the Courthouse. Rex's truck was parked on 5th Street. The opportunity presented itself to call out the bs that is not "news". A chance to expose the misinformation and repeated attacks by a group of people on someone inconvenient to the County. A chance to call out a "media outlet" deliberately stoking the flames of division in a community instead of spending time providing helpful, factual information about the upcoming election.

I don't like bullies. I dislike people who do not have the County and taxpayers' best interests at heart; only their selfish agenda.

Rex is a Supervisor who is also a private citizen. Could Rex be putting these signs up while he is on County time schmoozing which his family and friends call "working for the community". He could be but how do you prove it?

Does anyone care? Not really.  Is it an issue? It depends if Rex or any County employee on the clock is doing personal business. Are County employees commenting on Faceboook and online during work? How do you prove it when sites like LOCO allow stleath attacks and allow people to hide their motive behind anonymity?

Is this "news?" If you consider the failed attempt clickbait by Lost Coast Outpost on April 19 about Karen Paz Dominguez' Facebook campaign page "news; then yes; because you don't get to apply double standards.

That pathetic and another regular hit piece  by those in the County with an agenda against the Auditor Controller was a joke. LOCO got told off by FPPC essentially for wasting their time.

LOCO wastes more time having the Auditor Controller respond to them on what is often daily diatribes from anonymous County employees or Rex or the CAO. That time takes away from Paz Dominguez doing her job. Funny, none of the anti Paz Dominguez and four LOCO regular/ trolls take that fact into account.

LOCO this election season seems to be Humboldt County, Rex Bohn, Michelle Bushnell cheerleaders. They should get hired like Sean Quincey and be County PIOs and leave journalism to those who do reporting.

On April 19, LOCO decided to waste people's time on Paul Rodrigues' butthurt feelings and two employees whose departments are under scrutiny in claims by the Auditor-Controller. Rodrigues doesn't live or work here so he needs to stop doing the bidding of whoever contacted him from Humboldt. Rodrigues is 24/7 on Facebook and online attacking Humboldt Auditor Controller Karen Paz Dominguez. He should worry more about why he keeps moving from job to job.

If Lost Coast Outpost is so interested in campaign laws being followed, I am going to continue to call them out on their bs and double standards. LOCO does not apply the same criteria equally to all candidates and has not for any prior election season. Have you seen them be critical of any other candidate, look into any other candidate this election season besides harping the same tired talking points about Paz Dominguez.

Lost Coast Outpost refuses to disclose who owns them and has a stake. I have asked several times. Other media have owners and advertisers who are known and visible. Transparency is in actions, not words. LOCO won't disclose their own conflicts of interests or follows standards for their profession which is objective reporting; not parroting talking points from people they are supposed to hold accountable like government officials and law enforcement.

Who else  has other media written besides constantly regurgitating the same biased County talking points about Paz Domingez? None of the other local media is doing any investigative articles into campaign laws, finances, record of any other candidate.

This election season  LOCO is so arrogant and they don't even care if their hypocrisy is blatant. That happens when you can afford to stay in business because certain locals fund you to despite you passing off Jerry Springer slop for daily content.

On Wednesday, April 20, Paz Dominguez posted this on her Facebook campaign page on April 20.

"Here is the complete exchange I had with Ryan Burns of Lost Coast Outpost regarding him looking into my fb campaign page. I was alerted of his recent article and noticed that parts of my responses were left out and references to a separate YouTube page were added in that we didn't even talk about. I didn't even know about the activity on the YouTube page but I can't say I would have done anything differently. "

"It sucks I have to do this here but maybe others can learn from my experience. Hopefully this kind of biased editorializing doesn't discourage people from engaging in the civic process and running for office someday."

Here are the link to that post and the screenshots of the complete exchange.
