This is the first sign I have seen for Ben Hershberger

Just like endorsements this year, some election signs show interesting combinations and are not partisan.

This is the first sign I have seen for Ben Hershberger. There aren't as many signs as in past elections but but Natalie Arroyo and Mike Newman have had the most I have seen in several parts of Eureka. Westside is clearly Natalie Arroyo and Kim Bergel territory.

Signs do not necessarily mean votes. Early on in the campaign, people were walking for Natalie Arroyo in neighborhoods that campaign probably thought were favorable just as Mike Newman was making the rounds in Myrtletown. Stacey Eads and Steve Steward started walking early and seem to be doing so regularly.

Sign locations on empty properties with junk in the yard and property is not impressive. Newman has one at the empty house near Target that seems empty for years which has a big dumpster and "fixer upper" sign since last year. After this post, the sign is gone and the yard has been cleaned up.

Adrian Kamada sign on Broadway with the empty lot is depressing.

These are just my observations walking around parts of Second and Third Streets in Eureka, near the Courthouse, Broadway, several streets on the Westside. Some of these sign locations are partisan and haven't changed since 2010.  This is not analysis of every sign location because number of signs do not matter. Election is June 7.
