Will Hugo Parral Aguirre be deemed competent to stand trial?

Confirmation of transport was continued to August 21 for Hugo Parral-Aguirre; it was continued again to September 5.



Aguirre is charged with attempted murder of HCSO Deputy Rosalie Freixas; attempted murder of Carol Fuentes;  false imprisonment of Courtney Schlapicohl and assault with a firearm on HCSO Sgt. Greg Musson.

Deputy District Attorney Stacey Eads was present for the People. Conflict Counsel Supervising Attorney Meagan O'Connell told Judge Timothy Canning that Aguirre is doing better, he may be re-evaluated before the next court date to see if he is competent to stand trial.
