The offer to resolve Joshua Strange's case hasn't changed for months so what will another continuance achieve?

Intervention was scheduled on August 13 for alleged molestor Joshua Strange. Deputy Public Defender Luke Brownfield made an oral motion to continue tomorrow's preliminary to discuss the People's offer of 12 years with Strange.

While Deputy District Attorney Stacey Eads did not object to the continuance, she is correct that the offer has been on the "table for a while." I have been reporting on it since March.

Ms. Eads said the alleged victim and family are hopeful the matter will resolve. The DA recently received additional information on a USB drive.

Intervention was rescheduled to September 4; preliminary hearing for September 11.
