Brian Leiteritz's bail is one million. I have reached out to HCSO interim PIO and coroner regarding when victim's name will be released. DA has not received any report from law enforcement yet. DA has until Wednesfay to arraign him.
His birthdate is not listed in the press release but the age matches a Brian Jon Leiteritz in the court system with 13 traffic/infraction cases. Since this post, cases with his correct name are showing up in the system, including a prior conviction for assault.
