Patrick Michael Marshall is scheduled to be arraigned this afternoon on three felonies. All sexual offenses. Charges listed below as well as previous post which has more details.
After court update: Deputy District Attorney Jessica Acosta was in court for the People. The Public Defender's office was appointed for Marshall. Deputy Public Defender Casey Russo appeared with Marshall for arraignment. Time was not waived.
After being booked into the jail, Marshall was being held on a no bail status. The People requested bail be set at $95,000.
According to Ms. Acosta, the alleged acts in Counts 1 and 2 happened the same day. The pictures in Count 3 were exchanged prior to the date of intercourse.
Defense asked it be set per bail schedule at $70,000. Visiting Judge Renard Shepherd thought the amount requested by the People was excessive. Bail is $70,000. An OR/Bail and Supervised release report hearing is scheduled for September 3.
Intervention is on September 9. Preliminary hearing is on September 11.
