DA Victim Witness Office back in operation

Readers have been asking about the cause of fire at the DA Victim's Witness Office on July 31. I have reached out to Humboldt Bay Fire.

Amy Conlin, HBF PIO told me, "They ruled out electrical and based on some physical evidence at the scene believe the fire to be caused by an improperly disposed of cigarette."

The office on 4th Street is open.
