Trial setting for kidnapping, robbery and assault suspect suspect Franklin Molina was scheduled for August 29 has been vacated.
The District Attorney filed a motion to continue the jury trial and that motion was granted today by Judge Cockrum.
A 995 motion by the defense to dismiss Counts 1, 6 and 7 was rescheduled for September 19 to be heard by Judge Christopher Wilson. Disposition reset is also scheduled for the same date.
