Private attorney Mr. Michael Robinson has been retained and was here with about 25 people which included family members and supporters for Brian Leiteritz's arraignment.
Leiteritz is charged with one count of murder and special allegation for Count 1 that he used a deadly and dangerous weapon in the commission of the crime. Plea of not guilty and denial of the special allegation was entered on record.
Setting for future dates is on August 21. Time was waived until that date. Visiting Judge Douglas Phimister ordered Leiteritz to be held without bail. Mr. Robinson told the court that he reserves the right to address bail reduction in the future.
