Change of plea for Eshghipour taken off calendar

Maziar Eshghipour's case was scheduled today for setting of preliminary hearing, change of plea and arraignment on the third amended complaint. Arraignment and setting of preliminary hearing was continued to September 17 at the request of Deputy District Attorney Tobias Hasler.
Instead of the five felony charges and special allegation, this third complaint has three misdemeanors and no special allegations.

Deputy District Attorney Tobias Hasler is the prosecutor for this case. Mr. Greg Rael and Mr. Patrik Griego are representing Esghipour. Mr. Griego was in court today. Eshghipour was not present.

I spoke with Mr. Griego and he said the case was never on for change of plea. The change of plea was listed in court records.

  1. Please let some of us know what is going on. I am a 73 year old woman who was a patient of Robert Parks. I became a patient of Mazair Eshghipour by default after Dr. Parks retired. Since then, I have had seven teeth break off along with one half of a central front tooth. All broke within a week or two of seeing Mazair Esghipour. I am on Medi Cal and as such, cannot afford proper repair. In addition to the above, while Mazair Esghipour was there, a large amount of files in an unlocked cabinet, were moved out into the waiting room. This is totally unacceptable and against any medical practices - I am a retired Licensed Vocational Nurse and this was drummed into our heads during training. There were several other practices he did that go against the normal medical/dental laws. I would appreciate it if I could be informed with just a breif note, as to when there will be court hearings, etc. I wish to attend as many as possible.
