Brian Leiteritz was on the phone with HCSO when power was cut off to his home and a pounding on the door
Today, in a rare move for a defense attorney, Mr. Michael Robinson spoke with members of the media after court. Mr. Robinson told us about some of the events leading up to the night Dylon Liakos was stabbed.
Mr. Robinson did not identify the female subject by name. Mr. Robinson, Judge Gregory Elvine-Kreis issued a restraining order against the female subject, it was served. A hearing on the order was scheduled and Leiteritz missed it because he was at work and that restraining order was set aside.
A paralegal got a new restraining order for the same case and it was served on the female subject but there was some question about HCSO enforcement and Mr. Robinson said that HCSO interpretation was erroneous. "There was a lot of contact between the female subject and Leiteritz. Mr. Robinson said Leiteritz repeatedly called HCSO for help to no avail.
Around midnight, after repeated texts from the female subject indicating alleged threats to hurt Leiteritz and come over and see him--with help, the power was cut off at Leiteritz's home; there was pounding on door, Leiteritz callsed sheriff, he was on phone with law enforcement and " at that time he becomes victim of a home invasion attack." Mr. Robinson said Leiteritz was assaulted at door and he responded in self defense. The decedent, Dylon Liakos was found on lawn. Mr. Robinson does not believe the female subject was present when this happened but it was at her behest that two men, including Liakos , went to the Boss Street residence.
Liakos was this female subject's current boyfriend. She is Leiteritz's former girlfriend. Leiteritz's 19 year old son lives with him at the Boss Street residence but was not home at the time of the alleged incident. There are witnesses who saw power cut off at the Boss Street residence. There is a 911 call. Leiteritz is the manager at a local business.
"This morning, the restraining party did not show and the restraining order prepared by the paralegal was granted for 5 years, " said Mr. Robinson. Ms. Cyndi Day wilson represented Leiteritz. Mr. Leiteritz's family members have "negative contact" by same female, said Mr. Robinson. This order was for the same case.
The female subject is Alicia Rose.
I had already published a post previously from court records about a restraining order filed by Leiteritz against an Alicia Rose and a civil protection order filed by Leiteritz against a Tiffany Deveraux.
