About a week after Ryder Stapp arrested, two civic minded citizens were driving down Humboldt Hill on the highway going to Eureka.
They were behind a car. Due to the erratic driving, they called CHP but were transferred to EPD. The citizens followed the female driver to Wabash Avenue. As she made left turn to go to Costco, EPD apprehended her on Broadway.
One officer took the female driver to jail. Another EPD officer took her dogs (two golden retrievers) back to Humboldt Hill.
They gave me the woman's name today but don't remember the date.
She has a very unusual name and a social media presence, including two golden retrievers.
I verified her arrest, she has a misdemeanor DUI case filed and her name is Sanna Jane Wood Fase.
