Zachary Castaneda , a documented gang member was arrested and charged with 51 felony counts after a stabbing and robbery rampage today that resulted in him killing four people and injuring two others.
Castaneda faces life without parole and a death penalty review committee has been convened by the Orange County District Attorney.
Castaneda has a lengthy criminal history including possession of meth, assault rifle and car theft, violation of parole and most recent arrest for carrying a concealed dirk/dagger. He was out of custody because he posted bail.
Garden Grove police Chief Tom DaRe said Castaneda has been in jail 14 times and this is just since 2016.

ReplyDeleteThe Orange County DA said that he is ineligible for bail on today's charges. I was glad to see AB 109 mentioned in some coverage. This guy should never have been granted probation, just like many others locally.
