Red Lion has a new chef. John Ruddick has been at the hotel for a month and a half. Many of you may know him from Mad River Brewery or Crush or The Harvest.
Chef John has been in the business for 22 years. He is bringing a NorCal cuisine theme and changes to the menu which will feature products from local farms and businesses such as Tofu Shop, Cypress Grove and Natty burger.
There is a soft launch of the new menu scheduled for next Thursday. You can catch a sneak preview at the Pacific Bar and Grill on Taco Tuesdays or through daily specials. Ask Brooke, who bartends, serves and greets each customer with a smile for recommendations.
