Aaron Parker pleads guilty for a year in jail

Preliminary hearing was scheduled for Aaron Parker this morning. Instead Parker pleaded guilty to Count 1, contact with a minor with intent to commit a sexual offense and Count 4, indecent exposure. Four other counts were dismissed with a Harvey reservation.

The plea is for 365 days in jail. No Arbuckle waiver.

On July 9, the District Attorney amended the complaint. Parker is now charged with two counts of contact with a minor with intent to commit a sexual offense. These are both felonies.  He is also charged with four counts of indecent exposure; these are misdemeanors. The incidents allegedly occurred near Eureka High School.

Parker's attorney is Deputy Public Defender Brie Bennett.
