Alleged sexual batterer Ralph Horn was scheduled to be arraigned on information for his jury trial today. That arraignment was continued to May 16 so Deputy Conflict Counsel Owen Tipps could discuss an offer with Horn.
Horn was held to answer on three counts of sexual battery on April 17. Alleged victim Jane Doe testified at the preliminary hearing. Charges for jury trial are the same.
After the preliminary hearing, Deputy District Attorney Carolyn Schaffer conveyed an offer to Horn. That offer expires once he is arraigned.
