Alleged molestor James Hearn held to answer on all charges involving three Jane Does



James Hearn's preliminary hearing was continued to May 16. Then it got scheduled for this afternoon to make sure it was heard before the 60th day. Hearn has not waived time.

Hearn is charged with three counts of lewd and lascivious acts with a child under the age of 14. There is a special allegation that these acts involved multiple victims. There are three Jane Does.

APD Detective Victoria Marr, Officer Tyler Moore, Officer Gregory Pope and Detective Chris Ortega testified. The preliminary hearing took three hours.

Judge Gregory Elvine-Kreis held Hearn to answer on all charges. Arraignment on information is May 28. Bail remains set at $750,000.

Two women attended the court hearing and they were there for Hearn. One of those women was A.M, the mother of Jane Doe #1.

 A representative from the North Coast Rape Crisis Center was present.

Both Deputy District Attorney Joel Buckingham and Deputy Public Defender David Celli were effective with their questions.
