Earthquake shakes courtroom while jury instructions were read in Seng Yang case

Opening statements in Seng Yang's jury trial were postponed due to "unforseen circumstances."

Jurors heard what Judge John Feeney described as "pre instructions". As he was reading the jury instructions, the second floor shook due to earthquake.

Judge Feeney told jurors some testimony may be given in Hmong and will be translated by the interpreter. The two interpreters for the jury trial are Ms. Lebeka Xiong and Ms. Noumona Lynaom.
