An Oakland jury awarded Bay area couple, Alva and Alberta Pilliod, $2.055 billion in damages. This is third such verdict against Monsanto and the largest judgment against the company. The couple claimed the company's weed killer Roundup caused their cancer.
Bayer plans to appeal the verdict.
10's of thousands of Gardeners professional and home owners use glyphosate herbicide daily. Bayer really needs better representation or an extreme change in strategy.
