"On May 8th, CSET officers, working in partnership with the Timber Heritage Association (THA) volunteers, conducted a clean-up of the railroad tracks from 1st & T Street towards the vacant California Redwood Company. "

"In total, CSET officers and THA volunteers picked up more than 1,100 pounds of trash which was left abandoned next to the bay.  Although not every piece of trash could be collected during the clean-up, their efforts made a vast improvement.  This clean-up was done in preparation of the Timber Heritage Associations’ Eureka Slough Bridge Crew Speeder Rides occurring this Saturday between 10am to 4pm.
