Seng Yang rejects 30 year offer, has another Marsden motion denied and defense scores two wins in 402 hearings

If you have been following my coverage of the Seng Yang case, you know about his shennanigans, manipulation and Marsden motions. All his Marsden motions have been denied.

You know he turned down an offer of 39 years by the People to resolve the case after the preliminary hearing.

After the 402 hearing on Monday, on Tuesday and Wednesday, Yang decided to try more stunts and interrupt the 402 hearings and delay the jury selection process.

On May 14, Yang turned down a 30 year offer by the People and he tried another Marsden motion on May 15. It was denied.

All this has delayed the jury selection and now he is dragging out the jury selection process. While he plays these games with the legal process, jurors have been on call and yesterday morning sitting for hours in the jury room while hearings or discussions take olace in a closed courtroom.

Yang was ready to settle the case before his jury trial a couple of times but one of his offers was 6 years. That is what Yang thinks of the 16 counts which include forcible rape of his daughter, making porn videos with her and selling them.

The defense had a couple of crucial wins during the 402 hearings.

Whether Jane Doe's CAST interview will be shown to the jurors is a ruling that will be made after Jane Doe testifies.

Dr. Anthony Urqiza who has previously testified on Child Accomodation Abuse Syndrome will not be allowed to testify.

It seems that Samantha Sintic, the witness added at the last minute is the correctional officer addressed in the 402 hearings.
