Peeping Tom if this is your bike and backpack, HCSO wants you to confact them
Are you the owner of this backpack, beanie and bicycle? If so, the Sheriff's Office would like to talk to you.
Last night at about 9:30 p.m., deputies responded to a residence on the 2400 block of Central Ave. for the report of a suspicious person. The caller reported having seen a subject in their backyard. The subject appeared to be holding a camera or cell phone up to a bathroom window where the caller's teenage daughter was inside. The caller confronted the subject, who jumped over a fence and fled. Deputies checked the area, but were unable to locate the subject.
Chained to a sign at an adjacent business, was this bicycle and backpack. Deputies checked the backpack for any items to indicate an owner and located a BB gun and knife. It is unknown if the items are related to the suspect, but deputies collected them for safekeeping. The beanie was located in the back yard of the residence.
The caller was unable to provide a full description, but said the subject was a white male with light colored hair that had been sticking out from under the beanie like an afro. Based on footprints at the scene, it was determined that the subject was only wearing one shoe. The second shoe was not located on scene.
