Trayten Hunt flees from law enforcement, gets arrested again
On 5/25/19 at 11:55 am, the Arcata Police Department officer with his K-9 "Baron" joined a vehicle pursuit of McKinleyville resident, Trayten Hunt initiated by the Humboldt County Sheriff's Office.
Trayten Hunt was recently arrested in connection with an armed home invasion robbery in Arcata and currently had an active felony warrant for burglary. The pursuit began in McKinleyville and continued to Willow Creek where Hunt then fled on foot. K-9 Baron was deployed and successfully pursued Hunt where he was quickly apprehended hiding in a tree. The passenger in the vehicle, Alyssa Girard, was also arrested on scene.
Trayten Jakitrick Hunt (26) of McKinleyville was arrested on the following charges and booked into the Humboldt County Jail:
· 459 PC - Burglary (Felony Warrant)
· 2800.2 VC- Felony Pursuit
Alyssa Nicole Girard (20) of Eureka was arrested on the following charge and booked into the Humboldt County Jail:
· 11364(a) HS - Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
