Ulisses Rodriguez was scheduled to be sentenced this morning. No probation report had been received. The sentencing was continued to this afternoon.
Rodriguez turned down an offer made by the People before the trial started. Now that he could be sentenced to life without the possibility of parole, Rodriguez requested a Marsden hearing.
Ms. Andrea Sullivan is Rodriguez's attorney. Deputy District Attorneys Luke Bernthal and Trent Timm were the trial prosecutors.

Judge Gregory Elvine-Kreis who is cranky with jurors, now throws a fit with Rodriguez and adminishes his court appointed attorney. She is coming in from another County and she informed that she would be late. On a regular basis, everyone waits for Humboldt Superior Court Judges. Elvine-Kreis' unprofessional attitude includingwith other attorneys, especially those out of the area and not in the Humboldt clique, has been documented in my court coverage.
