There was a hearing on a motion scheduled this afternoon in one of Rory Kalin's lawsuits against Humboldt Superior Court Judge Gregory Elvine-Kreis. It was vacated.

Kalin's attorney, Mr. Jonathan Hornberger had filed a request for an ex parte hearing on a motion to vacate or as an alternative to continue trial dates. A day later, there was a joint stipulation filed. Judge Elvine-Kreis' attorney is Mr. Patrik Griego.

There is still a hearing scheduled on April 30 to consolidate both lawsuits filed by Kalin. The second lawsuit has additional defendants. Jury trial is scheduled for now for June 7.

Mendocino County Judge Ann Moorman has been assigned to both cases.

4/30: Motion to consolidate cases was rescheduled to May 10. A demurrer is scheduled for May 21.
