Judge Kelly Neel provided an update to attorneys and Brian Daniels about the jury a few minutes ago.
Late Thursday, the jury requested additional readback of Christina Rosenfeld's testimony. The court reporter prepared and it was read to them this morning.
As of 11:26, the jury planned to take lunch from noon to 1 p.m.
For some reasons that Humboldt Superior Court, as usual, has chosen not to share, on Friday jurors were not in session. The Brian Daniels jury did not deliberate, the Jason Smith jury had a day off.

3:10: Judge Neel said there was an issue with the jury that she needed to discuss. She showed something to the attorneys. Said it wasn't a note. Then spoke with attorneys privately. Mr. Leohner said he needed to talk to Daniels. Court took a recess.
