Daniels doesn't show up a despite being court ordered but other defendants get cut no slack despite good reason?

At trial assignment today for Brian Daniels, once again he was not there. Doesn't do any good to order a court appearance if there is no enforcement. Why is Daniel still out of custody with several cases, including a felony charge?

Daniels trial was assigned to Judge Kelly Neel. There are several cases assigned to Judge Neel trailing Daniels. All those people have to wait until his highness and his attorney Deputy Conflict Counsel R.J. Leohner deign to resolve the case. They have dragged this and rejected reasonable offers from the District Attorney.

Meanwhile, a guy, who showed up for his hearing and is working in Dinsmore with spotty service and gets told by Judge Kaleb Cockrum that he needs to be available by phone or within 15 minutes reach. This after waiting for hours of trial assignment.

Since Deputy District Attorney Roger Rees is in trial, other DAs will have to be assigned to cases that may or may not proceed next week.
