Sacramento County District Attorney Anne Marie Schubert is holding a press conference this morning regarding the state of public safety in California and her plans to run for state attorney general.
DA Schuber made national headlines for the successful investigation, arrest and conviction of the Golden State Killer and for leading the effort to expose California's EDD scandal. She has spent over 30 years as a top prosecutor, protecting kids from sexual predators and human trafficking and making sure violent criminals are held accountable for their crimes. Ms. Schubert is an international expert in DNA/Cold Case investigations and prosecutions.
Rob Bonta, who was sworn in to the position by Governor Gavin Newsom on Apri 23.
