"Voluminous discovery" leads to continuance of alleged molestor's preliminary hearing

 


Preliminary hearing for alleged molestor Jorge Alcazar Vasquez scheduled for today was continued to May 24 by Judge Kaleb Cockrum.

Vasquez entered a 10 day time waiver. His attorney, Deputy Public Defender David Celli is currently in trial. Deputy Public Defender Luke Brownfield appeared on the case today.

Deputy District Attorney Carolyn Schaffer had no objection based on good cause. She added there was voluminous discovery that Mr. Celli needed to go over with his client.
