Nine year prison term, waiver of apellate rights and most custody credits resolve Molina case

Kidnapping, robbery and assault suspect Franklin Molina's jury trial has been vacated. As I indicated in my last post, a resolution was discussed. Molina accepted that offer at trial assignment.

Nine year stipulated prison term. Molina will waive all custody credits up to April 16, and waive his apellate rights. Molina waived his right to a speedy trial so that the entry of plea could be scheduled for April 27.

Molina made the headlines fleeing from Humboldt and being apprehended in Mendocino County.

4/27: The hearing did not proceed today because no interpreter was available. That information was not available until an email this morning.
