Hung jury and mistrial declared in Brian Daniels case

At 3:12 today, there was a note from the jury in the Brian Daniels case.

After discussion with the attorneys, a break, jurors were brought in around 3:35. Judge Neel polled each juror, one by one. She asked if there was anything the Court could do to make jury deliberations more "fruitfall" or was the jury at an "impasse."

Every single juror was in agreement that"nothing can be done"; that there was nothing the Court could do that would change their mind and that "further deliberations would be fruitless."

Judge Neel thanked and excused the jurors. Judge Neel said there was a hung jury and declared a mistrial.

There were informal discussions about a global disposition for all of Daniels' cases. The next court date is May 5. Another court date at June 14. Except for Judge Neel, no one had their mics on so I will add type of hearing later.
