As expected Opera alley murder preliminary continued due to attorneys being in other trials

 

Murder suspect Connor Whited had his preliminary scheduled for April 21. As expected, it was continued to May 26.

Deputy Conflict Counsel April Van Dyke and Deputy District Attorney Luke Bernthal are both in trial on two different cases. Ms. Van Dyke's trial is expected to be over in three to four weeks.

Deputy District Attorney Shelly Small appeared on the case for the people. Conflict Counsel Supervising Attorney Meagan O'Connell appeared for her office. Defense made a motion to continue and People had no objection.
