Another felon violates probation because there are no consequences in California


On April 7, 2021, at about 4 p.m., Humboldt County Sheriff’s deputies conducted a probation search at a residence on the 4000 block of Salmon Creek Road in Miranda associated with 64-year-old Randall Allison Reese.

During the search of Reese’s residence, deputies located and seized over 48 grams of methamphetamine, 28 grams of heroin, 100 Oxycodone Hydrochloride pills and four firearms, one of which was reported stolen.

Reese was cited and released on charges of possession of a controlled substance while armed (HS 11370.1(a)), possession of a controlled substance for sales (HS 11378), felon in possession of a firearm (PC 29800(a)(1)), felon in possession of ammunition (PC 30305(a)), possession of a stolen firearm (PC 496(a)), possession of a controlled substance (11377(a)), possession of a narcotic substance (11350(a)) and violation of probation (PC 1203.2(a)).
