"It is a pretty weak 273.5"

Aaron Hungerford was held to answer to the corporal injury to spouse and inhabitant charge but the defense motion to reduce it to a misdemeanor. Count 2, vandalism  he was held to answer.

"It's a pretty weak 273.5. At this stage, there is sufficient cause of preliminary. Obviously these people are back together. " Judge Eilson said this will be a difficult case to prove at trial.

Trial confirmation May 10. Jury trial is on June 10.

Judge Wilson granted the defense motion to reduce Count 1 to a misdemeanor because Hungerford has no criminal record. His DUI case is trailing. Time was not waived for this case.

Jane Doe said she and Hungerdford are dating. Their relationship began around April/May last year. She lives with him in Samoa. On January 10, 2019, "we were going to break up. I was planning to move out. We were just too stressed out. I wasn't happy at the time."

That has changed now, said Jane Doe. "We were arguing. We haven't been arguing now. I was stressed because the kids were there." These are Hungerford's children from another relationship.

The gist of her testimony was that she is noe saying tbe injury to her foot is because she tripped and the cigarrette burn to her arm was not intentional. She called law enforcement because Hungerford locked her out of the house and wanted her to leave on January 10. She wanted to wait until the weekend. There was a deflated tire on the car. It was really hard to hear her testimony at tines.
