Jurors deliberating on mental health petition for sexually violent predator Donald Lilly

This Tuesday, after weeks, a jury trial is deliberating on a mental health petition for a sexually violent predator Donald Lilly. I was able to find that much out after spending hours researching Lilly's conviction in a 2005 case and what records were available to me for the petition on the 2017 case.

Deputy District Attorney Whitney Timm is the prosecutor for this petition. Conflict Counsel Supervising Attorney Meagan O'Connell is Lilly's attorney.

The case was not coming up in e court. I suspected it maybe a situation like Joshua Cooley where the case is confidential. If you are not in court, in cases like this, there are no minutes or public records you can access. Cooley was also represented by Ms. O'Connell.

After contacting the clerk's office, I was told by David, it is both "confidential and non-confidential. The documents are confidential. He told me the confidential status had been removed but I may not be able to view it in e court." The case is not accessible to the public.
