Just minutes ago, an out of custody defendant in Courtroom 3 had a seizure or medical emergency and HCSO deputies rushed in to assist Courtroom 3 bailiff. Courtroom 3 is closed. There was blood on the floor and he was motionless. 9:35 Medics from Arcata Ambulance just got here with a stretcher and took him away. Custodial services is in cleaning the courtroom.
