Jesse Chakchak Widmark was arrested by Eureka Police Department yesterday on a Ramey warrant for PC 664/187(a) attempted murder , PC 273a (a) child abuse or child endangerment, PC 245(a)(1) assault with a deadly weapon, PC 211 robbery, PC 69 resisting arrest and PC 417(c) brandishing a firearm at police.
Jesse Widmark is is the second suspect in Harris and Dolbeer shooting incident. He was booked on a no bail status.
I reached out to HCSO about Jesse Widmark's brother and the other suspect Brandon Widmark but since my last follow up, there is no update. HCSO Crime Analyst Andrea Scutt said that EPD is the lead on the investigation. I have reached out to EPD Chief Todd Jarvis and EPD Assistant Chief Brian Stephen.Asst.Chief Stephens said a press release will be issued.

On May 10, 2023, Jesse Chakchak Widmark was arrested and booked into the Humboldt County Correctional Facility. This arrest resulted from his involvement in the April 18th critical incident that occurred at the intersection of Harris and Dolbeer Streets in Eureka.
Jesse Widmark was arrested for the following charges: Attempted Murder of A Peace Officer, Brandishing a Firearm in the Presence of a Peace Officer, Felony Obstruct/Resist a Peace Officer, Robbery, Assault with a Deadly Weapon Other than a Firearm and Child Endangerment.
Brandon Widmark, the second suspect in this investigation, is still receiving medical treatment and will booked upon his discharge from treatment.
