Attempted murder, hit and run and assault suspect Brandon Widmark, the other brother involved in the Harris and Dolbeer shooting was booked into Humboldt County jail yesterday. His 5/15 arraignment date by Zoom had been vacated. Brandon Widmark's arraignment was rescheduled to 5/22.
Preliminary hearing for his brother, Jesse Widmark is scheduled for 5/23 but defense has already made an oral motion regarding discovery and needed to file a written motion. OR/bail for Jesse Widmark was denied by Judge Steven Steward.
The DA has already filed a complaint against Brandon Widmark which is in my previous coverage. I would look at those charges instead of the press release.
Dates will most likely be rescheduled. I just did a post on Jesse Widmark's arraignment last Friday so updates on dates, OR/bail will be added to this post.

On May 18, 2023, Brandon Michael Widmark was arrested and booked into the Humboldt County Correctional Facility. This arrest resulted from his involvement in the April 18th critical incident that occurred at the intersection of Harris and Dolbeer Streets in Eureka. Brandon Widmark was arrested for the following charges:
Attempted Murder of a Peace Officer, Brandishing a Firearm in the Presence of a Peace Officer, Felony Obstruct/Resist a Peace Officer, Robbery, Assault with a Deadly Weapon Other than a Firearm, Child Endangerment, Felony Hit and Run, Evading Causing Great Bodily Injury and for being a Felon in Possession of a Firearm.
5/22: Brandon Widmark arraignment on 5/22 waa continued to 5/23. No bail status remains.
5/24: Ms. Rebecca Linkous appointed for Brandon Widmark. Setting of preliminary hearing on 5/25. Jesse Widmark's preliminary continued to 5/25 for setting of preliminary hearing. PD had conflict. Ms. Andrea Sullivan appointed for Jesse Widmark.
5/25: Preliminary scheduled for 6/1. TE 1 day
