Last August, I reported that Las Michoacanas located on 5th Street in Eureka had been open for a year. The new owners are related to Rita whose restaurant operated at that location for years. I had known for months, the business partners Perla Osorio and Socorro Osorio aka Socorro Sanchez had parted ways.
Then they sued each other over the contract and agreement. On 11/4/22, the case was on for further setting. On 3/6/23 plaintiff Perla Sanchez's attorney requested a 60 day continuance. Socorro Osorio's attorney had no objection. There was a case management conference on 5/5/23. Another case management conference is scheduled for 11/8/23; Readiness conference on 1/12/24 and court trial on 1/16/24.
I have court documents in the previous post and a case management statement by Socorro Osorio's attorney in this post. There was no response or document filed by the other parties on 5/5/23 listed in the e court system yesterday.
11/8/23: No settlement.
11/14/23: Ex parte hearing to continue trial; motion granted. 12/1/23, 1/12/24 and 1/16/24 dates vacated. Motion hearing summary judgement rescheduled for 1/824; Readiness conference on 2/2/24 and Court trial on 2/5/24.
