Potential juror had no idea who Rex Bohn was and thinks he is the Humboldt controller

 

While waiting for a courtroom to open this afternoon, a potential juror for Courtroom 2 which is one of the three trials currently going on talked non stop to his fellow juror without taking a breath for 10 minutes.  One of the many things I learned about Mr. Chatty was that he does not get picked for jury duty but has been called many times. He did get picked this time.

He told the lady he was sitting next to that he had no idea who Rex Bohn was "but by the time we were done, I had a pretty good idea of who you are bud. He is the controller or something." Now this is a guy who has had politicians and their campaign staff knock on his door. The lady had no clue who Rex was either. Both are white, seem to be in their mid 50s and appear to be middle class.

Mr. Chatty then informed his potential fellow juror that his wife was mad at him because he would not tell her what the case was about since cannot talk about it. His wife accused him of keeping secrets from her.
