On 5/16, City of Eureka filed a notice of settlement conference for the first CEQA petition filed by Citizens for a Better Eureka against housing on low income parking lots. According to the City of Eureka filing, "the parties have already met and conferred briefly". This conference will take place on 5/25.
I checked this case on 5/17, nothing had been entered in e court. Today, Humboldt Superior Court finally scanned the document. Civil case entries and minutes are days behind. Is it related to shortage of staff? Maybe? This is typical of Humboldt courts in civil cases and is not a recent occurence.
6/6: The second CEQA petition has a settlement conference on 7/14.
