So why was there police tape last week and still blood on the stairs at the Humboldt Inn?

Reader just asked me what happened at  the Humboldt Inn on 4th Street. A week ago,there was police tape. There is still blood on the stairs.

Reader tried to ask the security guards. One said a handrail broke. Another told the him to get off the property. This reader is someone I know from the community and it isn't some random person.

This is the former Budget motel, now known as Humboldt Inn. It has been dubbed by area locals as"the COVID motel." It is being used to house some of the homeless. People sit and walk around without masks all the time.

Tried calling the Humboldt Inn. No answer. Without a specific date and time, I am not going to follow up with EPD.

The name may have changed but same motel, same area and not the first time there has been blood at the location or police.
