Public Defender Marek Reavis had seven character witnesses testify today. This included his son Paul Dare from one wife, two church members, another stepdaughter from another wife who also goes to his church, two former work supervisors and a man who knew Mark Dare because Mark Dare rented a house from a family member. Three of these men are "Christians", one did not specify if he was Christian.
None of them were aware of the web searches, the viewing of pornography, the affair, the porn and sex addiction and the videos. When they were questioned by Deputy District Attorney Whitney Timm about these issues, except for the stepdaughter who said her opinion changed slightly, none of the men had any issues with the porn, the video, the affair, the porn and human trafficking websites. Not sure what they believe in but they don't in God or Jesus. I don't think they read or follow the Bible but each of them had their mind made up before they testified. A true believer and follower of Christ would not sit there and testify Mark Dare is a "moral Christian." Mark Dare is also a man currently married to his third wife and he cheated on her. He didn't even tell Windy Dare of the affair until she asked him.
During cross examination by Ms. Timm, Paul Dare revealed that he had conversations with Mark Dare, Windy Dare and his aunt, Billie Baldwin about the case.
Yesterday Mark and Windy Dare discussed specific incidents and testimony from the trial with Paul Dare before he testified today. Told him what questions to expect.
Mr. Reavis had no questions for Paul Dare after this bombshell was revealed.
There are two more witnesses, one is a defense expert. After that, both parties can present rebuttal and surrebuttal witnesses. Jury instructions will be finalized and then closing statements. Jury deliberations are expected to start early next week.
