Typical Humboldt drama and gossip nixed by a responsible Facebook page admin

These are screenshots taken by someone around 10 p.m. yesterday and sent to me late night. The Facebook post was removed. There were other comments last night but the post was removed before the person could take more screenshots.

This morning Christa Christie posted this:

There is a Kristy Lilly Wilkinson who was booked into the jail last night and released on OR.  The original comment by Christa Christie doesn't provide the full name and "lily" is not "lilly" so no idea if it is the same person and no way to verify it.

The charges for Krista Lilly Wilkinson booked last night do match up with what the Facebook post mentions. PC 273 a (b),child endangerment, VC23152 (a), DUI and VC23152 (b), driving with a blood alcohol concentration of .08 or higher but, once again, there is no way to verify if this is the person Christa Christie is talking about in her post.

Typical Humboldt Facebook drama involves people going off posting whatever they want on Facebook with no proof and no evidence.

As Kim Warvi correctly stated, personal issues do not need to be blasted on Facebook pages and crime watch.

Names being incorrect or mispelled are common in this Facebook drama. How people refer to each other in their clique maybe different than the actual name. I commend the moderator for removing these posts. This is how a responsible page is run on Facebook.

As I have mentioned before, certain local Facebook pages and online local sites are popular because people can comment anonymously or comment without moderation and allow people to gossip. So likes and follows do not mean anything nor do the number of comments. None of those online sites and Facebook community pages are news sources.  Any legitimate news outlet has standards. People can say anything they want with no consequences in this County because they have been allowed to for decades.

More Facebook admins should learn and run their page and be responsible like Blue Lake Community News and Crime Watch.
